lenovo a7000 touch screen not responding left side of screen

Hi i brought my lenovo mobile model a7000 last year from online from the website coolbuy.in , it was working well even after marshmallow update 4 months back. now all of a sudden the quarter left side the touch is not working which is very frustrating especially when typing or selecting buttons on the left side . no software updates were done recently, tried factory reset but no success, contacted coolbuy support, they advised to check for lenovo support or post in forums for advise. any help will be appreciated.
