LeEco Launches Le Pro 3 in China: Snapdragon 821, 6GB RAM, 4070 mAh Battery, no Headphone Jack

LeEco's next flagship, the Le Pro 3 has been launched in China. The device comes with a 5.5″ FHD LCD display, Snapdragon 821, USB Type C port, a 4070 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0, 16MP rear camera with an 8MP front camera and runs on Android 6.0 with LeEco's EUI 5.8 skin. The phone comes in a few RAM + Storage configurations, starting at 4GB + 32GB for CNY 1799 ($270) going up to 6GB + 128GB for CNY 2999 ($540). The phone also does not feature the headphone jack, just like previous LeEco devices.

The Note 7 was Reportedly on Track to Outsell the Note 5

BayStreet Research has reported that Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 was selling better than the Galaxy Note 5 in the United States. The research company compares sales figures from wireless carriers during the first months they were available. Naturally, this has halted due to the battery issues and the recall, but it does show the amount of momentum Samsung had with their latest smartphone.

AT&T has New Galaxy Note 7 Units in Stores

If you purchased your Galaxy Note 7 from AT&T (on or before September 15th), then you can go to a retail location and swap it out for a brand new one. These new units are said to be safe, and have the new batteries installed instead of the faulty ones. They recommend you turn the device off now, and keep it off until it's replaced.

Samsung Australia Announces a Charge Limit on the Galaxy Note 7

We previously heard that Samsung could limit the battery capacity of the Galaxy Note 7 to 60% with an OTA update. This was later denied for devices sold in the United States, but Samsung Australia has announced this in an automatic update going out today. Customers in Australia will get an alert message to notify them of the automatic update, and the reason for the battery limitation.
