LG Says They’re Sticking with the Modular Concept for the LG G6

LG is already being praised more for the recently announced LG V20, than they have for the LG G5. The company may not have hit a home run with their core flagship series, but they aren't done with the modular concept just yet. At the recent V20 event, LG spokesman Ken Hong confirmed they will continue with the same modular concept with the LG G6.

HTC’s Monthly Revenues are Up MoM, but Down YoY

HTC has been struggling for a while now, but their latest monthly revenue report could be a sign of good things to come. Sadly, their monthly revenues were down 4.51% compared to last year, but it's not all bad news. Comparing August's revenues to July's, the company saw an increase of 4.12%.

Xiaomi Mi Box Rumored to Launch in Early Q4 2016

Xiaomi announced their Android TV Mi Box back at Google I/O earlier this year. We knew it would be late in they year since they said it would launch with Nougat, but that was all we knew. TechCrunch cites a "source inside Xiaomi" that claims the device will launch in early Q4, and that it would be priced under $100.

Google Publishes the Android Security Bulletin for September

With September's monthly security update rolling out to Nexus devices, Google has detailed what the update includes. This update comes in three stages with security patch levels being labeled as 2016-09-01, 2016-09-05 and 2016-09-06. Combining them all together, we see that they include patches for 7 Critical vulnerabilities within Android. 23 of these patches are for High severity vulnerabilities and 17 of them are for Moderate severity vulnerabilities.

Vodafone Mentions Android 7.0 Nougat Rollout Delayed for Huawei Nexus 6P

A few supported Nexus devices, including the Huawei Nexus 6P, are yet to receive their Android 7.0 Nougat update but Google has failed to provide any reason why. A statement from Vodafone Australia's customer support mentions that indeed, the rollout has been delayed. Although the exact issue has not been mentioned, Huawei is working towards resolving it.
